Peeling Mastarms
Mastarms west of Reedy Creek are currently being painted and work should be completed by the end of summer.
Trash
We pride ourselves on having one of the cleanest corridors in Central Florida. This in no way is an easy task considering we have approximately 70,000 vehicles traveling through this District on any given day with a portion of this traffic going to the Osceola County Landfill which sits within the District’s limits.
Signage
Our office has received calls regarding signs along the right of way within the District. Please note that our office has directed all personnel to remove any and all signs within the maintained right of way. Though we’ve done a good job in removing these signs, weekends tend to be the worse time. For more information on signage contact Zoning at 407-742-0200.
Unauthorized Trimming of Landscape
Many businesses have taken it upon themselves to trim landscape in front of their businesses which in some cases caused the landscape to become diseased or die costing the tax payers of these District unnecessary dollars. Please understand that maintenance of the landscape falls within a program and lack of trimming or pruning is in no way an oversight but part of a schedule based on a recommendation by a licensed Horticulturist.
If you would like to make a request for pruning or trimming, contact the West 192 Redevelopment Office at 407-390-1700. We will look into all requests and will act on the recommendation made by our Horticulturist.
