Guidemarkers are approximately 1 mile apart and go from Guidemarker #4 on the far westend of the district and go to Guidemarker #15 on the eastend. With miles of well lit sidewalks and walkways within the West 192 Redevelopment District, visitors can take long walks while at the same time enjoy the many landscaped areas and sites within the corridor.
Sonia and Joseph Cabrera of Chicago, Illinois enjoyed their time out on West 192. They enjoyed the beautiful landscaping, sidewalks and decorative bus shelters. Ms. Cabrera stated "I love it here so much I will definitely be coming back soon".
Streetlights within the West 192 Redevelopment District are equipped with banner assemblies which can be used to promote events within Osceola County and some of our local Attractions like Medieval Times.
For more information on the West 192 Banner Program you can contact our office at 407-390-1700.
Because the West 192 Redevelopment District is bordered by wetlands and in a lot of areas, wildlife will sometimes work their way on the project as did this 41/2’ moccasin (venamus) located at Guidemarker 14. While visiting our West 192 Redevelopment District we would ask that you keep clear of any and all wildlife you may encounter.
To report potential dangerous wildlife, contact our Animal Control Office at 407-343-7101.
